Responsiveness, Competence, and Professional Ease

Braun Construction replaced four corrugated metal culverts with 24-inch HDPE pipe on Leif Erikson Drive at City ofPortland’s Forest Park. Project took place from June 13th to August 31,2012. Total cost of the project was $149,381.99. Some of the terrain was steep and difficult to access which presented challenges and which Braun Construction successfully met.

Jeff and Jeanie Braun managed the day to day operations of the project by using the appropriate resources and equipment. The final project was completed within planned dates and budget (except for design modification change orders).

I enjoyed working with Jeff and Jeanie and appreciated their responsiveness, competence, and professional ease with which they operated and look forward to working with Braun Construction on other projects.

Please contact me with any questions or comments you may have.

On Schedule and on Budget

December 13th, 2011

I was the Owner’s Representative for the City of Portland, Bureau of Environmental Services, responsible for managing all aspects of work with Braun Construction to perform the SW 25th & Dewitt Combined Sewer Relief Project.  During the course of the project, I developed a solid respect for Braun Construction and their project manager, Jeanie Braun.

Jeanie’s professional approach to accomplishing goals kept the project running smoothly, on schedule, and on budget, with a minimum amount of problems.  The few unforeseen conditions we encountered were met with speed, professionalism and creativity.  Jeanie and her field crew were quickly able to respond to issues and work towards a proactive solution. I believe Jeanie exhibits many of the qualities essential to being a successful construction manager.  She was involved with all aspects of the work; submittals, site visits, weekly on-site meetings, quality control, billings, safety meetings and all communication.

Jeanie consistently met all expectations and solved problems expeditiously allowing the project to stay on schedule and on budget.  The expertise and professionalism created a seamless project from start to finish.

I would not hesitate recommending Jeanie Braun and Braun Construction and Design.

Work Ethic Impressive

The project turned out really well and it was a pleasure to work with Greg, Drew, Jeremy, and Jeff. I was particularly impressed with Greg’s work ethic and his desire to complete the project exactly according to our vision.

Resident applauds Braun employees

August 2021
Let me start by saying that I have lived all over this country from the coast of Maine to Hawaii.

I now live on [a street in Wilsonville], where (as you know) extensive construction is taking place on the street. I must say I was dreading this process; however, it has been better than I could have hoped.

The Braun Construction employees are exceptional. They have worked late in the unprecedented heat. They have been kind, considerate and very accommodating to the old folk drivers in this neighborhood. These workers are the kind of employees every business would hope to have. They are an asset to the company and by extension the city of Wilsonville. I have never run across workers anywhere that are as dedicated and professional.

I have gotten to know Dillon, Thad and Steve a bit and all I can say is WOW and THANK YOU.
Most Grateful,

DM

Amphitheater Enjoyed by Sherwood Community

Sherwood Amphitheater

Braun Construction contracted with the Sherwood School District in Summer of 2009 to build a new landscaped courtyard where only asphalt and old abandoned drain lines existed previously. It was a challenging project with many unknown site issues and a very tight time constraint.

Jeff and his crew worked very hard to deal with all of the issues that arose and delivered a wonderful amphitheater style courtyard that is enjoyed every day by the Sherwood community. Braun Construction delivered a very nice project to the District.
